Call for papers

You are invited to prepare a professional or scientific paper for the Conference, which you can present orally or by means of posters, which will be placed in the foyer of the Hall. All accepted written contributions will be published in the conference proccedings, regardless of the method of presentation. As usual, the planned topics of the Conference this year cover the whole field of activity of structural engineers. In addition to papers on design, construction, reconstruction, maintenance, management and supervision of all types of building structures, we also expect papers on research and development activities.

Professionalpapers are particularly encouraged, as they are expected to constitute the bulk of the published contributions. Scientific contributions, which must be identified in advance as scientific, will be sent to the Scientific Committee members of the Conference for review. 

Authors of papers are kindly requested to let us know by 31 July 2024 the title of their paper with a brief summary of the intended content, the title of the author(s), if more than one, and whether it is a scientific or a technical paper. The abstract should not exceed 150 words.  It is preferable to use the online submission form, but you can also send the necessary information by e-mail to: info@sdgk.si.

The final paper in Word (*.doc or *.docx; please use template) format must reach us at info@sdgk.si no later than:

• 4 October 2024 if it is a scientific paper and
• 14 October 2024 if it is a technical paper.

Please let us know together with the paper how you would like to present it at the Conference. The Editorial Board will inform you by 20 October 2024 whether your scientific paper is suitable in content and format for publication in the Proceedings, and the authors of scientific papers will be informed of the results of the review. In case of necessary corrections, final scientific contributions will have to be received by 25 October 2024 at the latest.
